博士，三级教授，博士生导师，湖北省跨世纪优秀人才，湖北省历史建筑研究会副会长，湖北省公路学会常务理事，中国测绘学会矿山测量专业委员会委员，湖北工业大学BIM工程研究中心负责人。主要从事BIM技术开发与应用、大型桥梁的监测监控等方面的研究工作，主持十三五国家重点研发计划项目子课题1项，省部级科研项目12项，企业委托项目34项，在BIM技术应用、大型桥梁施工监控等方面取得了创新性研究成果。发表学术论文83篇，获省科技进步二等奖3项，协会科技进步一等奖1项，国家行业BIM竞赛奖3项，授权专利10项。承担《土木工程测量》等本科及《GPS测量原理与应用》等研究生课程教学工作，获得省级教学成果奖1项。
